Narrative:
UPDATE01: Ambrey received reports that US forces conducted additional airstrikes on the port of Ras Isa at approximately 22:20 UTC. Ambrey observed video footage and imagery which showed multiple fires in the port area. Ansar Allah (“The Houthis”) claimed that 17 port workers had been killed as a result of the US airstrikes. At the time of writing, no damage to merchant vessels or casualties among crewmembers had been reported.

US military forces conducted four airstrikes on the port of Ras Isa, Yemen. Ambrey observed four vessels alongside at the terminal when the incident occurred. The operation was carried out with the intent of “eliminating this source of fuel for the Iran-backed Houthis and depriving them of illegal revenue”. This operation was announced on the official social media of the United States Central Command. Ambrey is investigating and will follow up with all relevant details.
