Narrative:
Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack on the Port of Kronstadt, Russia. An air raid alert was activated for the Leningrad Oblast at 01:02 UTC on 04 July, and remained in place until 06:37 UTC. The Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine subsequently confirmed that operators had conducted strikes against the main base of the Russian Navy’s Baltic fleet in Kronstadt. The air raid alert had remained in place for five hours and thirty-five minutes, during which the Port of St. Petersburg and the Port of Vysotsk were also targeted and damaged as a result. At the time of writing, no casualties, pollution, or damage to merchant vessels had been reported.

ADVICE: Vessels conducting Baltic Sea port calls are advised to conduct comprehensive dynamic voyage threat assessments. The crew is advised to remain within the designated Safe Muster Point (SMP) during UAV attacks on infrastructure. The SMP should be located above the waterline, amidships, and low-down in the superstructure.
