Priority Broadcast Alert – Europe and the Mediterranean

Ambrey received information that Ukrainian forces conducted an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) attack on the Filanovsky Oil Platform 79NM south-southeast of Astrakhan, Russia. Four UAVs reportedly struck the platform during the attack. The damage from the attack has reportedly resulted in the suspension of operations at 20 wells in the oil field. At the time of writing, no casualties, damage to merchant vessels or damage to the platform had been confirmed.

ADVICE: Vessels are advised to report any unusual or suspicious activity. The crew is advised to remain within the designated Safe Muster Point (SMP) during UAV attacks on infrastructure. The SMP should be located above the waterline, amidships, and low down in the superstructure.
