Priority Broadcast Alert – Europe and the Mediterranean

Iranian forces launched a ballistic missile attack on port infrastructure in Haifa, Israel. Missile alerts were activated at 01:06 UTC on 16 June. Ambrey observed video footage of Israel Defence Forces (IDF) air defence systems intercepting the attack, followed by impacts from two “hypersonic missiles”. At the time of writing, fires were observed at the power plant in the vicinity of the port.

ADVICE: Merchant vessel crews are advised to remain within the designated Safe Muster Point (SMP) during missile attacks on infrastructure. The SMP should be located above the waterline, amidships, and low-down in the superstructure.
