The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has announced the implementation of a blockade targeting all oil tankers designated under US sanctions from entering or exiting Venezuelan ports. The measure is assessed to be enforced by US naval and coast guard assets operating in the Caribbean Sea. Sanctioned vessels may be subject to interdiction, boarding, or diversion.
