Priority Broadcast Alert – Asia and Oceania

A merchant vessel is reportedly on fire in the proximity of the oil loading terminal of JSC NK Alliance, Vladivostok, Russia. Reports indicated the vessel had it’s AIS off, and alleged that the vessel belongs to Russia’s “shadow fleet”. Ambrey observed uncorroborated still imagery showing the vessel engulfed in large flames with clouds of smoke rising from the vessel. Ambrey also observed large amounts of electronic warfare causing AIS disruption off the coast of Vladivostok. At the time of writing, no information on cause of the fire had been reported. No reports of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) strikes have been recorded in the area of interest.
