Priority Broadcast Alert – Asia and Oceania

A Panama-flagged general cargo vessel was reportedly boarded by an individual while transiting eastbound in the Philip Channel, approximately 6.7 NM east of Kasu, Indonesia. The suspect was reportedly armed with a gun-like object. During the incident, the vessel was underway at 7.6 knots, with an estimated freeboard of 5.7 m. At the time of writing, the vessel was continuing its journey.
