1. OSM Thome Limited Group appoints Tommy Olofsen as Group Managing Director to lead next phase of growth. After a long and successful career, Finn Amund Norbye has informed the Board of Directors of OSMT Group of his decision to retire from his role as Chief Executive Officer.

4. American private equity eyes Korean yard investment. Taekwang Group has muscled into the bidding war for K Shipbuilding, joining forces with TPG, a US private equity firm formerly known as Texas Pacific Group. The consortium has submitted a letter of intent to acquire management control of the Jinhae-based yard, one of three confirmed bidders for the shipyard formerly called STX Offshore & Shipbuilding.
