1. Costamare announced completion of the Costamare Bulkers Holdings Limited Spin-Off. Costamare Inc. (NYSE:CMRE) (the “Company”) announced today that it has completed the spin-off of its dry bulk business into a standalone public company, Costamare Bulkers Holdings Limited (“Costamare Bulkers”). Each holder of Costamare Inc. common shares received one common share of Costamare Bulkers Holdings Limited for every five Costamare Inc. common shares held as of the close of business on April 29, 2025.

2. Crowley’s Copán expands shipping capabilities for US, Central America and Caribbean. 5. EU sanctions target nearly 200 Russia-linked ships. European Union countries have agreed to impose a new raft of sanctions against Russia, including those targeting nearly 200 ships in the so-called shadow fleet used to circumvent restrictions on oil and gas exports.

6. Norden exercises option for two more MPPs. Danish shipping giant Norden has decided to increase its multi-purpose (MPP) fleet by signing newbuilding leases with purchase options for two vessels.

These two vessels are options to the recently signed deals for two identical vessels set to deliver in 2026. This latest pair of 17,500 dwt vessels is expected to be delivered in 2026 and 2027.

9. Russia to Spend $6bn To Jumpstart Domestic Shipbuilding, Includes 130 Vessels for Arctic. Russia has announced a RUB 500bn ($6bn) plan to revitalize domestic shipbuilding.
