10. Valaris lands $140m drillship deal with BP. New York-listed offshore driller Valaris has won a contract for one of its drillships from a subsidiary of supermajor BP.

The contract for the 2014-built Valaris DS-12 is for five wells with BP Exploration Delta Limited in Egypt.
