Narrative:
Russian forces conducted a combined ballistic missile and unmanned aerial vehicle attack on Dnipro port, Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defence stated that the port was struck as part of the fifth day of Russia’s campaign against Ukrainian port infrastructure. Facilities used for the unloading of fuel were targeted due to their reported use by Ukrainian forces. Four merchant vessels were reported to have been struck in Chornomorsk and Dnipro Port for their alleged involvement in logistics support for Ukrainian forces. At the time of writing, regional authorities had not disclosed details of the damage sustained in the port.

ADVICE: Vessels conducting Black Sea port calls are advised to conduct comprehensive dynamic voyage threat assessments. Crew are advised to remain within the designated Safe Muster Point (SMP) during UAV attacks on infrastructure. The SMP should be located above the waterline, amidships, and low down in the superstructure.
