Details
Narrative:
Ukrainian forces conducted an Unmanned Boat (UB) attack on the port of Novorossiysk, Russia. According to Russia-affiliated media channels, Alarms were sounded at 03:22 UTC, and as of the time of this report, media indicated the attack was being “repelled”. Based on AIS data, Ambrey observed approximately 17 merchant vessels in Novorossiysk port at the time of the attack; however, Ambrey is aware that merchant vessels had been withholding their AIS signals when calling Russian ports and transiting Russian waters. At the time of this report, no damage to merchant vessels or port infrastructure has been reported. Ambrey will provide updates as new information becomes available.

ADVICE: Vessels conducting Black Sea port calls are advised to conduct comprehensive dynamic voyage threat assessments. The crew is advised to remain within the designated Safe Muster Point (SMP) during UAV attacks on infrastructure. The SMP should be located above the waterline, amidships, and low-down in the superstructure.
