Priority Broadcast Alert – Europe and the Mediterranean

Russian forces conducted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack on the port of Reni, Ukraine. Reports suggest that port infrastructure had been targeted, along with the city’s solar power plant, with fifteen UAV strikes recorded. Ambrey observed at least three merchant vessels berthed or anchored in proximity to the port at the time of the incident. No damage to merchant vessels or casualties had been reported. Ambrey assessed the incident as ongoing and will provide updates when available.
ADVICE: Vessels conducting Black Sea port calls are advised to conduct comprehensive dynamic voyage threat assessments. The crew is advised to remain within the designated Safe Muster Point (SMP) during UAV attacks on infrastructure. The SMP should be located above the waterline, amidships, and low-down in the superstructure.
